Why local matters when you're booking clearance in Ayr.
Ayr is the largest town in South Ayrshire and our second-busiest service area after Largs itself. We run routes through KA7 and KA8 multiple times a week, with crews familiar with every district from Alloway and Doonfoot in the south through the town centre, Newton-on-Ayr, Wallacetown, Heathfield and Whitletts to Prestwick Road in the north.
Most Ayr bookings get a same-day or next-day site visit, with the clearance itself completed inside the same working week. We're typically on-site within 40 minutes of leaving the Largs depot via the A78, and we keep a regular van presence in the South Ayrshire postcodes so even short-notice jobs rarely wait long.
Ayr's housing stock is unusually diverse — grand Victorian and Edwardian villas around Alloway and the seafront, traditional sandstone tenements in Newton-on-Ayr and the town centre, 1960s–1980s ex-council estates across Whitletts and Lochside, and modern new-builds in Doonfoot and Castlehill. We've cleared every type, including B-listed properties where extra care is needed protecting period features.
The most common Ayr jobs we run are probate clearances (the town has a high proportion of long-term residents downsizing or passing on family homes), end-of-tenancy resets for the strong rental market around Ayr University and the town centre, and pre-sale clearances for estate agents preparing listings on the seafront and in Alloway.
