Commercial clearance is the planned removal of fixtures, furniture, equipment, stock and waste from a business premises — typically at end-of-lease, insolvency, refurbishment or relocation. Includes secure handling of data-bearing items and licensed disposal paperwork.

Usually 5–15 working days before lease expiry, immediately after CVA or insolvency appointment, between tenants, or as part of a refit window. Out-of-hours and weekend slots available so you can trade until the last day.

IT equipment is taken to a recycling centre that handles IT and electronic waste. Where required, they can provide paperwork certifying the destruction of the equipment.

Old sofas, armchairs and other upholstered furniture can contain Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) — harmful flame-retardant chemicals. In line with SEPA's guidance, we keep waste upholstered domestic seating separate from other waste and send it for proper incineration rather than landfill, so these substances are safely destroyed. We are a SEPA registered waste carrier (WCR/R/1137430) and recycle responsibly at the appropriate licensed facilities. A Waste Transfer Note is available on request.
