How much does rubbish removal cost in Ayrshire?+
Single items from £45. Quarter van £150. Half van £250. Full 3.5t van £495. You pay for the volume actually taken — not a fixed skip rate. Minimum uplift £45. Prices are a guide only — final quote confirmed on site or by phone.
How quickly can you uplift?+
We aim to get most Ayrshire bookings in the diary quickly. Urgent next-day slots usually available — call Scott on 07480 164649 to check this week's diary.
Do I need to bring everything outside?+
No. We carry from any room, garden, shed, garage or attic. The price you're quoted includes the carry-out — no extra charges for stairs or distance from the kerb.
Can you take a fridge or mattress as a single item?+
Yes — single-item collection from £45 (fridge from £50, mattress from £45, sofa from £45). Often same-day.
What about builders waste and plasterboard?+
Yes — we run a trade account service for local builders, joiners and bathroom fitters. Same-day uplift, plasterboard separated for recycling, invoices available.
Do you take garden waste?+
All of it — hedge cuttings, turf, branches, soil, slabs, decking, fencing, old furniture. Heavy materials are priced separately as they hit van weight limits quickly.
Is it cheaper than a skip?+
Usually yes. A 6-yard skip in Ayrshire costs £280–£380 plus £30–£80 permit if on the road, plus surcharges for fridges/mattresses, and you load it yourself. Our full 3.5t van is £495 fully loaded and carried by us — no permits, no surcharges, no DIY.
What happens to the rubbish?+
Loads go to SEPA-licensed transfer stations. As much as possible is diverted from landfill — metals to scrap, electricals through WEEE, soft furniture for re-use where possible, timber to biomass.
Do you give a waste transfer note?+
Yes — on request. Just ask and we'll email one over. Useful if you're a landlord, trader, or selling the property.
Do you cover my area?+
Full Ayrshire and Clyde coast: Largs, Ayr, Kilmarnock, Irvine, Troon, Prestwick, Saltcoats, Wemyss Bay. No travel surcharge inside the service area.
