A 6-yard skip costs £280–£380 in Ayrshire, needs a road permit if on the street (£30–£80/week), can't take fridges, mattresses or plasterboard without surcharges, and you load it yourself in the rain. Same-day uplift typically costs less and you don't lift a finger.

We visit (or review your photos) and, once we've seen the job in person, give you a clear, written, fixed-price quote — no hourly clock, no surprise disposal fees. Once it's in writing, the price won't change.

We bring the van and 2–3 crew. You don't lift a thing. Area tidied on completion.

In detail
Furniture, white goods, electricals, mattresses, carpets, kitchenware, clothes, toys, general bagged waste. We carry from any room or floor — no requirement to bring items to the kerb. Standard 3.5t van takes the equivalent of a 6-yard skip.
Hedge cuttings, branches, turf, soil, decking and fencing offcuts, old garden furniture, sheds (see Shed Clearance), greenhouses, planters, gravel and patio slabs. Heavy materials (rubble, soil, slabs) priced separately as they hit weight thresholds quickly.
Plasterboard, timber offcuts, broken tiles, bathroom strip-outs, kitchen rip-outs, bagged rubble, packaging. We service local trades on a same-day basis — a phone call before lunch gets a van on-site that afternoon. Trade accounts available.
All fridges, freezers, TVs, white goods and electricals collected and processed under WEEE regulations. Hazardous household waste (paints, oils, small chemicals) accepted in domestic quantities. There are just a couple of things we can't take — car tyres and asbestos. Asbestos needs a licensed specialist for safe disposal, so we're always happy to point you in the right direction.
Single item / sofa: from £45. Quarter van (approx ½ builders skip): £150. Half van (approx 1 builders skip): £250. Full 3.5t van (2 builders skips): £495. Heavy materials (rubble, soil) hit weight limits quickly and are quoted separately. Minimum uplift £45. Prices are a guide only — final quote confirmed on site or by phone.
Old sofas, armchairs and other upholstered furniture can contain Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) — harmful flame-retardant chemicals. In line with SEPA's guidance, we keep waste upholstered domestic seating separate from other waste and send it for proper incineration rather than landfill, so these substances are safely destroyed. We are a SEPA registered waste carrier (WCR/R/1137430) and recycle responsibly at the appropriate licensed facilities. A Waste Transfer Note is available on request.
