A one-off uplift of a single household item — sofa, mattress, fridge, washing machine, wardrobe, table or similar. We carry from any room, dismantle if needed, and dispose under our SEPA-registered waste-carrier paperwork.
Anyone replacing a single piece of furniture or appliance, tenants moving out, landlords resetting a let, and households whose council uplift can't fit them in for weeks.
When new furniture or a new appliance is being delivered, when an old item won't fit through the door for self-disposal, or when council uplift is full for the next few weeks.
A licensed single-item uplift is fast, fixed-price and traceable. DIY tip-runs need the right vehicle, a permit and an SEPA waste carrier licence — and unlicensed 'man with a van' uplifts often end up fly-tipped, which the householder can be fined for.

We visit (or review your photos) and, once we've seen the job in person, give you a clear, written, fixed-price quote — no hourly clock, no surprise disposal fees. Once it's in writing, the price won't change.
Send a photo via WhatsApp or describe the item by phone. Fixed price quoted before we set off — no on-arrival surprises.
Fast booking — we'll agree a day that suits and the crew will give you a heads-up call when they're on the way.
We carry from any room, any floor, and dismantle in situ if needed. Item routed for recycling or licensed disposal.
Doors locked, keys returned, property left tidy. Where a property is being resold or re-let we can arrange cleaners to come in. SEPA waste transfer note available on request.

In detail
Sofas, armchairs, mattresses, beds, wardrobes, chests of drawers, dining tables, fridges, freezers, washing machines, tumble dryers, cookers, TVs and similar single household pieces. If you have two or three items, we'll often quote them on the same visit for less than separate bookings.

If you've got more than a van's worth of items, a full or part clearance usually works out cheaper per item than several single-item uplifts. We'll tell you honestly which option suits when we quote.
We follow SEPA's POPs guidance for upholstered furniture and recycle responsibly at licensed facilities. We're a SEPA registered waste carrier (WCR/R/1137430), with a Waste Transfer Note available on request.
